Super Falcons defender Jumoke Alani has joined Turkish club Yüksekova Spor Kulübü from Nasarawa Amazons on a one-year contract.
Goal Nigeria reports that Alani made the move after helping Nasarawa Amazons during the 2025/26 Nigeria Women’s Football League Premiership season.
The 21-year-old defender also earned a place in the 2025/26 NWFL Premiership Best XI.
The NWFL selected Alani among four defenders in its Team of the Season alongside Valentina Uroko of Edo Queens, Oluwabunmi Oladeji of Bayelsa Queens and Favour Iheagwaram of Abia Angels.
Before joining Nasarawa Amazons, Alani played for Edo Queens in the NWFL Premiership.
She also represented Nigeria at youth level before earning a place in the Super Falcons setup.
In 2023, Alani helped Nigeria win the women’s football gold medal at the African Games in Ghana.
In 2024, she received a Super Falcons call-up after Ashleigh Plumptre withdrew from Nigeria’s Olympic qualifying squad.
Alani later featured in Nigeria’s squad for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games as an alternate player.
Yüksekova Spor Kulübü has now added the Nigerian defender ahead of the new season.
