FIFA President Salary History
FIFA changed its executive remuneration policy after the 2015 governance reforms. Since 2016, the Annual Report has listed the president’s fixed salary, performance-related compensation, pension contributions and other employment benefits. Earlier reports disclosed far less information.
Before those reforms, Sepp Blatter led FIFA from 1998 to 2015. Court records released during corruption investigations later showed annual earnings of about CHF 3 million, together with bonuses, pension contributions and other benefits.

Who Is Gianni Infantino?
Giovanni Vincenzo Infantino was born on 23 March 1970 in Brig, Valais, Switzerland. The FIFA president is 56 years old in 2026 and holds Swiss, Italian and Lebanese citizenship. After studying law at the University of Fribourg, Infantino qualified as a lawyer before moving into football administration.
Infantino’s football career began at the International Centre for Sports Studies (CIES) in 1997.
