Transfermarkt’s latest figures show Tottenham as the Premier League’s biggest spenders so far after committing €267 million to new signings.
Roberto De Zerbi’s side have strengthened with the arrivals of Sandro Tonali, Mateus Fernandes and Jan Paul van Hecke, while more additions are expected before the new season.
Manchester City sit second after completing a €135 million move for Elliot Anderson, making the England midfielder the most expensive signing of the summer. The deal marks the start of City’s new era under head coach Enzo Maresca.
Brighton have also invested heavily ahead of their UEFA Conference League campaign. The club have signed six players, including Luka Vuskovic in a club-record transfer.
Chelsea and Liverpool remain among the league’s biggest spenders. Chelsea have strengthened under new manager Xabi Alonso, while Liverpool have completed deals for Víctor Muñoz and Jeremy Jacquet after appointing Andoni Iraola.
Meanwhile, Arsenal have yet to match that level of spending.

Although Arsenal currently rank 12th, the position could change before the transfer window closes.
Transfermarkt reports that Arsenal are expected to miss out on Morgan Rogers, who has attracted strong interest elsewhere. However, the Gunners continue to monitor Atlético Madrid forward Julián Álvarez as Arteta looks to strengthen his squad.
Elsewhere, Crystal Palace, Nottingham Forest and Sunderland have yet to spend a transfer fee this summer. Palace and Sunderland have each completed one free transfer, while Nottingham Forest remain the only Premier League club without a confirmed signing.
